Meet Robert Odwyer

With more than three decades of experience in security, investigation, and protective operations, Robert Odwyer has dedicated his career to safeguarding people and organizations. His commitment to public safety began at age 16 as a volunteer with a community emergency response organization, followed by service as a New York City Auxiliary Police Officer.

At 18, Robert entered the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for over 23 years as a military police officer, criminal investigator, and NCIS Special Agent. Throughout his military career—including combat deployments during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom—he led complex security operations, conducted high-risk investigations, and supported national-level defense missions. He later continued this work as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Defense, further deepening his expertise in threat mitigation, protective operations, and security program management.

Robert later transitioned to the private sector, overseeing complex global security and safety programs for major technology companies. His work focused on designing and implementing scalable security processes, technologies, and crisis-management frameworks that protected employees and assets across international operations.

Today, Robert is a security consultant and licensed Private Investigator in North Carolina. He provides comprehensive security risk assessments, investigative services, and protective strategies for corporations and high-net-worth clients. His lifelong dedication to defense and protection remains the foundation of his work, guiding every assessment, recommendation, and investigative effort he delivers.
