Meet Robert Odwyer
With a career spanning over three decades, Robert Odwyer has dedicated his life to the defense and protection of others. His journey began at the young age of 16 when he volunteered with a community emergency response organization. By 17, he was serving as a New York City Auxiliary Police Officer, a testament to his early commitment to public safety.
Robert's dedication led him to the U.S. Marine Corps at 18, where he served for over 23 years. As a military police officer, criminal investigator, and NCIS Special Agent, Robert has been at the forefront of security operations, including combat deployments during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His career continued as a special agent within the United States Department of Defense, further solidifying his expertise in security and protection.
After retiring from the Marine Corps, Robert transitioned to the private sector, leading global security and safety programs for major tech companies. His focus on implementing effective security processes and technologies ensured the safety of employees worldwide.
Today, as a security consultant and newly licensed Private Investigator in North Carolina, Robert provides comprehensive security solutions to corporations and high-net-worth individuals. His commitment to protecting others remains at the core of his identity and work.

The inspiration for "Fortis" came from the movie "Dunkirk," which portrays the courageous actions of Royal Air Force pilots during World War II. The term "Fortis" embodies the best qualities of selfless individuals who prioritize the safety and well-being of others, even in the most challenging situations.
